How to Connect Microsoft Teams with Heyoo.ai

Connecting Microsoft Teams with Heyoo allows you to keep employee advocacy front of mind without adding another tool to check. Once connected, Heyoo can automatically send notifications to a dedicated Microsoft Teams channel, so your team stays informed and engaged in real time.

What You Need Before You Start

• Access to Microsoft Teams

• Permission to add an incoming webhook to a Teams channel

• Admin access in Heyoo

Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Create an Incoming Webhook in Microsoft Teams

1. Open Microsoft Teams and go to the channel where you want to receive Heyoo notifications (e.g. “Team LinkedIn”).

2. Click the three dots next to the channel name and select Connectors or Manage channel (depending on your Teams version).

3. Find Incoming Webhook and add it.

4. Give the webhook a name, for example “Heyoo Notifications”.

5. Optionally upload an icon for easy recognition.

6. Save the webhook and copy the generated Webhook URL.

Step 2: Add the Webhook to Heyoo

1. Log in to Heyoo as an admin.

2. Go to Settings > Webhooks.

3. Create a new webhook.

4. Paste the Microsoft Teams webhook URL you copied earlier.

5. Choose which events you want to receive notifications for, such as:

   • New campaigns created or launched

   • Colleague posts published (from a Campaign)

   • Colleague posts published (as a Thought Leader)

6. Click “Create Webhook”

Once created, Heyoo will start sending notifications directly to your selected Microsoft Teams channel.
