Heyoo provides an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that lets you manage your workspace and campaigns straight from an AI assistant like Claude — using plain language instead of clicking through the app. MCP is an open standard for connecting AI apps to external tools, so your agent gets structured, secure access to Heyoo and can take actions on your behalf.
Once connected, you can ask your AI assistant to:
List your workspaces — so the agent knows where to work.
Browse and create campaigns — list existing campaigns, look one up in detail, and create, update, or archive campaigns.
Use your workspace's building blocks — pull in your tags, employee groups, and content pillars to target a campaign correctly.
Check what's scheduled — and how it's performing — see which days you have posts scheduled in a given month and what status each post is in, plus engagement (reactions, comments, shares, and clicks) on posts that are already live. Admins can look this up for any colleague, or pull the whole team's posts in one go (for example, "show me every post scheduled across the team next week"); everyone can see their own.
Pull your analytics — get a workspace's performance for any period: engagement, followers gained, engagement rate, posts published, active contributors, reactions, comments, and earned media value, each compared against the previous period (for example, "how did our team do last month versus the month before?"). Members see their own numbers; admins can look at the whole team, a single colleague, or an employee group.
For example: "Draft a campaign for next week's product launch, target the Sales group, and keep it as a draft." The assistant will look up the group, create the campaign, and hand you back a link to review.
The Heyoo MCP server runs at:
https://app.heyoo.ai/mcpThere's no API key to copy. When your client connects for the first time, a browser window opens where you sign in to Heyoo and approve access — your assistant handles the rest automatically.
In Claude (web or desktop): open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the URL above, then sign in to Heyoo when prompted. The Heyoo tools then appear in your connectors menu.
Setup steps for other clients (Claude Code, Cursor, and more) are in the full developer reference: https://docs.heyoo.ai/api-reference/mcp
The assistant acts as you — it can only do what your workspace role already allows, and it's only offered the tools your role can use. Admin-only actions (such as creating campaigns or viewing a colleague's posts and analytics) aren't available to non-admins.
Publishing a campaign with a start date in the past sends emails and Slack messages to employees immediately — review drafts before you ask the assistant to publish.
If you belong to several workspaces, tell the assistant which one to use (e.g. "in the Acme workspace…") or it will ask.
